Visual Studio Team System Webcast Interview

March 02, 2009

Sometime before the end of 2008, I was interviewed for a webcast by Yuval Shavit at TechTarget.com and WinDevelopment.com.  In the interview, I talk about how to get the most out of Visual Studio Team System 2008 when you're on a budget.  Specifically, some of the issues around licensing and what kind of functionality you can expect if you or your company cannot afford licenses of Visual Studio Team Suite on every developer machine.  The short answer: you can get a lot of benefits of Team System by purchasing Team Foundation Server and then using Visual Studio Professional and a Client Access License (CAL) for development.

Well, it recently got posted to their site and you can watch it here.
