And in other Team Foundation Server 2010 news…
Microsoft has teamed up with Ken Schwaber (scrum.org), the Scrum Alliance, and Accentient to create a course aimed at Scrum teams called the Scrum Developer course. This 5-day course teaches teams and individual developers how to effectively implement Scrum using Team Foundation Server 2010 and Visual Studio Ultimate 2010.
I was lucky enough to help teach the first run (“the alpha”) of this course at Microsoft in Redmond a few weeks back to a group of Microsoft TAP customers. Earlier this week, Microsoft and Accentient announced that they’re running the beta version of this course in Mountain View, CA from 11/2/2009 – 11/6/2009. You can read more about the course on Accentient’s website and you can register for it at regonline.com.
This is a really great course but if you can’t make this one, there are also dates scheduled in December 2009 (Seattle, WA), January 2010 (Paris, France), and February 2010 (Dallas, TX & Redmond, WA). This class will also be available from Benjamin Day Consulting starting in March 2010 so keep an eye on our training schedule!
