Looking for a C#, ASP.NET Developer

November 15, 2006

I'm looking for a mid/senior-level C# / ASP.NET developer to join my project for a major financial institution in Boston, MA.

The project is an n-tier app written with C#, ASP.NET, NHibernate 1.2, Visual Studio Unit Tests, and Team Foundation Server.

Required Skills: NHibernate, Test-Driven Development (test first!), C#, ASP.NET, database design, object modelling

Nice-to-have skills: Visual Studio 2005 Unit Testing, MSBuild, Team Foundation Server

The perfect candidate would be someone who has worked extensively with ASP.NET and C#, lives and breathes the Domain Model & Service Layer patterns, has written an application or two with NHibernate, is serious (but not a zealot) about test-driven development, knows UML for class diagrams, and can take direction.

That last point (“can take direction“) is really important.  I've got some testability design patterns that I want to follow and -- well, let's just put it this way: I'm paying the bill and I want it done my way.  'Nuff said.

The project starts ASAP and will go until around 1/1/2007.

You can work from home but ideally you live within easy driving distance of Boston, MA.

Interested?  Know anyone?  Drop me a line via the contact form.

-Ben
