Title:
State Management in ASP.NET
Abstract:
If you’ve used ASP.NET, you’ve probably used the ASP.NET Session object. The problem is that we don’t often think about what this actually means to our application and – since it works so well – we probably never think about how ASP.NET Session Management actually works.
In this talk, Mike’s going to start by reviewing the principles of state management. From there he’ll move on to the different configuration options of ASP.NET state management and what those configuration options mean to your app. Along the way, he’ll discuss the common pitfalls, potential security holes, performance considerations, and the best practices for state management.
